Tributes to Adam from Work Colleagues

Steve Sowerbutts

As a former employee of Fraser Eagle, I met Adam many times. Mainly when I was coach driving on rail replacement. No matter what station, what time, whatever the weather, no matter how busy, Adam always had a smile on his face, always professional and always found time to have a chat. An absolute joy! My thoughts are with all his family and friends. God Bless.

Words can’t describe how we all feel at this moment. Please rest assured it was a pleasure and a privilege to work with Adam. Just a travesty that we couldn’t have worked with him longer.

Casey Dean (St Mary’s Gym)

I’ve got so many great memories of the times I spent with Adam. He made me laugh every day. He left a huge impression on everyone he met. I’m devestated to hear of your loss.

Like everyone, we have been so saddened to hear of his death and particularly the manner in which it occurred. It was so typical of Adam’s attitude to people that he would want to help when seeing someone in trouble – that it should have led to his death is a terrible thing. He was a fine young man and a credit to you. We are elderly and, unlike some young people, Adam would always have time for us, with a smile and often a joke or a conversation – in the short time we have known him he had made his mark at work and we are sure he will be sadly missed at the health club.

Please be assured at this sad time for you and your family that he will be remembered and thought well of by people who had the good fortune to get to know him, however briefly. We just wish to let you know the esteem in which your Son was held – and our thoughts are with you at this very difficult time.

Adam was a wonderful lad, he will be greatly missed by so many people. What a terrible shock to you and all who knew him. May his life be truly remembered.

Philippa

So heartbroken and shocked to hear about Adam. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, so obliging and caring. He will be greatly missed but it was a great privilege to have known him.

It’s times like this that Adam would know exactly what to say … he was a kind, gentle soul very thoughtful with a great sense of humour. He’ll always bring a smile to my face …… memories I’ll treasure forever.

Linda

You were a ray of sunshine! Full of laughter, always a smile, nothing too much trouble. Someone special – only the good die young and oh you were so good to know. Always in my thoughts.

Lynn

Quite simply one of the most remarkable people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting in my life. He meant so much to so many. I am privileged to say he was a friend and one who will stay with me, and everyone else who was lucky to encounter him, for the rest of their lives. He was a credit to you. God bless you mate, you were one in a million. See you on the other side.

Becky

Adam was an amazing young man with amazing qualities and a heart of gold. He was a pleasure to work with and a fantastic friend. He was a great personality and always had a smile on his face which touched many people’s hearts. He will be greatly missed by many. Deepest sympathy to you all he will always be in my heart. xx

Tom
